Interiors

This 200 room, four star hotel is located adjacent to Vancouver’s international airport, on former marshland at the delta of the Fraser River. The rich natural history of the area has inspired the theme for the interior spaces, which re-establishes the ‘genius loci’ through a palette of natural colours and the interpretative medium of super graphics. A 60 foot long Living Wall greets visitors at the vehicular drop off, setting the stage for the entrance lobby that features warm earth tones on floors and walls, and decorative ceiling motifs of the indigenous typha plant. The typha is the most common of all wetland plants and is carried across as a theme in wall coverings.
